Updates the text of the specified topic in the tree if the value is visible.

Help Builder loads the tree dynamically as it is expanded so there's no guarantee that the node in question is visible. However, usually you should just be able to call GoTopic() to accomplish the same thing as GoTopic will try to expand out topics to display the current one regardless of whether the item was visible before or not.
